Intellectual property rights

We conduct matters related to intellectual property rights. We seek to protect our clients against any breach of their trademarks, patents, copyrights and rights to internet domains, and to obtain compensation in case a breach occurs. We ensure the appropriate protection of rights to names, works and other intellectual property rights in commercial transactions. We draft documentation and assist at negotiations of the terms of licence agreements and agreements transferring intellectual property rights. Among other things, our experience includes drafting agreements governing the development of computer games, publishing agreements and distribution agreements. We have advised in takeover transactions where rights to the brand and trademarks of products and product lines were the principal asset. Among the entities that have benefitted from our services were companies operating in the biotechnology industry, developers of computer games, film studios and e-commerce businesses.
